Data and sync
Tasks, habits, routines and notes work without creating a Tarteeb account. Data is stored on the device; supported planning records may sync through the private CloudKit database for your iCloud account when available. Sync depends on your account, device and network settings. If expected data is missing, do not delete the app or iCloud data while troubleshooting.
Reminders
Reminders use local iOS notifications after you enable them and allow notifications. In the last step of setup, you choose the daily summary reminder and its time, and whether to be reminded at the times of the items you chose. Later, change the daily summary from the bell on Today, and a task or habit reminder from that task or habit. If a reminder doesn't arrive, check the task or habit's time and reminder option, then check Tarteeb's notification permission and Focus settings in iOS.
Language
On first install, Tarteeb opens in your iPhone's language: Arabic if your preferred language is Arabic, and English otherwise. You can change the interface language in Settings at any time.
Optional Claude assistant
The cloud assistant is not required for daily organization. It requires acceptance of the sharing disclosure, a valid Anthropic API key and network access. It may send Quick Capture text when capture needs assistance, or a weekly summary when you request a reflection manually. Sharing task titles is a separate choice. You can turn it off or remove the key in Settings. Do not send the key to support.
Sharing diagnostics
If you choose to share a diagnostics report from Settings, review it first and choose its recipient. Reports are not automatically sent to the Tarteeb team.
